comment QGIS assign multiple points data to closest polygon
do you want to create summary statistics (e.g. sum of point values in the polygon) or do you want to add more columns to the polygon depending on the number of points in it?

comment Drawing isochrones on map?
Are you aware that isochrones are lines of equal travel time? They can be at 10, 20, 30 minutes but not at 10, 25, 50 km.

comment How to count the sides or edges of a polygon?
Sorry, missed the sentence about writing to the attribute table. Editing attributes is covered in the PyQGIS Cookbook.

comment Automated removal of dangles / loose ends in line with QGIS?
You could route from the start to the end. Are you looking for the longest possible line as a result? e.g. on the left side: should the algorithm chose the longer "arm"?

comment How to highlight a selected feature in qgis plugin using python
QGIS will automatically apply the selection color if the selection is set correctly. You should not have to do anything manually.

comment Can I use Node.JS as backend programming language combined with Openlayers and postGIS?
You could ask for specific examples of where this combination was used successfully but you will get more relevant answers if you share some potential use case(s) you want to cover using this stack.

comment Can I use Node.JS as backend programming language combined with Openlayers and postGIS?
As described in How do I ask a good question? gis.stackexchange.com/help/how-to-ask, opinion-based vague questions should be avoided. Please try to be specific about the requirements and exactly what you are planning to do with OpenLayers and PostGIS. You can edit this question and it will appear on the moderation lists as a candidate for reopening.

Could you clarify your requirements a little more? Are you simply looking for a way to compute a new interpolated raster layer from an input raster layer?

comment create polygons and fishnets of specific size and orientation and buffers
Dear @Thanasis, what do you think Xmin,Ymin,Xmax,Ymax could refer to? If you need somebody to do the whole analysis for you, you might have to hire a GIS analyst.

comment create polygons and fishnets of specific size and orientation and buffers
I'm still uncertain what rules should be applied to "find an average square or rectangle area surface"? For the fishnet solutions, wouldn't it be enough to generate a grid and move it to your desired location manually? Or does it need to be some kind of automatic process?
