gdal-grass plugin for gdal 1.8 @scw thank's for the link..it is useful but i still have the same problem download.osgeo.org doesn't work in my country thus i can't install the tar.gz of latest plugin...can anyone share a link of the plugin in dropbox or megaupload for example or this is a violation of the GPL licence ? |

Kriging on GRASS+R i'm not very experienced with the R raster package but i know that this package was built to handle large raster file using small amount of RAM. |

spgrass6 and GIS_LOCK I know it's easier but i'll have to change again my workflow...(interactive session of R vs scripting..), i'm new to GRASS and it'll take some time to find the best way (script, interactive, within R ) to be more profilic using this wonderful software. I thought it'll be easy to learn it from R but i guess that i don't have the choice so i'll try to learn scripting in GRASS (any emacs mode ?) and thank you for the link, the wiki is very well documented !! |

Altitude Above channel in GRASS 6.4 i agree with you about compatibility with those algorithms, and i would also like to thank you for the sagacvs repository for ubuntu, there was a seg_fault bug in 2.05 and now the 2.06 version runs fine. So i'll use grass as my main gis tool, and saga when it will be more appropriate. |
