BigTIFF support in libraries? I don't see an option in my 'Edit' page to turn things into a community wiki. If you can do that for me, or point me to how (I've used other older SE sites, but not the newer format), I'll gladly change it. |

Problems with OpenLayers and WFS - proxy.cgi issues Running a Python CGI script inside of Tomcat is probably not going to work like that. The script is designed for people using Apache HTTPD to host their sites, not Tomcat. You'll need to do something different. |

Is anyone using JSONP in Web mapping applications to get around the browser same origin policy? Sorry; my application level comment was about GIS application support. jQuery has reasonable support for JSON-P, and I assume other general JS libraries do as well. |

show position on google map/earth, from gps data, using google API I'm not sure this is actually an answer to the question, since the question isn't clear if he means 'with live update' or not. |

What is the state of the art in html5 geospatial applications? Additionally, OpenLayers has built in support for non Canvas technologies already available in browsers -- VML, SVG -- and has for years. In general, sticking to the HTML5 'buzzword' is skipping the "what problem am I solving?" step of looking for a solution... |

Where to license non-automotive POIs for France, Spain and Portugal? Not sure why you think Navteq POIs are automotive focused? In general, they have very complete POI data for many different things, from restaurants to bars to hotels to pharmacies. Whether you can afford to pay for it, of course, is another question. |

Where to license non-automotive POIs for France, Spain and Portugal? Commercial 'licensability' doesn't need to granted; using OSM under the current (CC) license or future (ODBL) license for commercial purposes is allowed by the license. You still have to meet the requirements of the license, but 'no commercial use' isn't one of them. |
