How are you getting this data in the first place? It's possible to specify the result SRS as 4326. See developers.arcgis.com/javascript/jsapi/query.html

Thanks, Tengshe. A misunderstanding maybe. Typescript interfaces simply enforce type safety on a javascript object. So I can say o = <IWmsGetCaps>OpenLayers.Format.WMS(endpoint) and then confidently manipulate/access o using strong type checking. Alternatively I can construct o without accessing a real endpoint. Why? Unit tests. Persisting map state in localstorage. Annotations. Interop between map engines. I see utility in having a standard representation of this data in JS/JSON but since nothing more authoritative exists (apparently) I used OpenLayers as my authority.
