Renee Cammarere has served the IEEE as the Co-chair for the Aerospace and Electronics Systems Society, at which time she hosted several technical luncheons in the Rome, NY area. Before that, she was a member of the EMC Society, has served as secretary, and as the Treasurer for the Mohawk Valley Section of the IEEE since 2008.

She received her B.S. in Computer Science at SUNY IT in June of 2005, and is presently employed with the Connecticut Operations for Technology Service Corporation working out of her home in upstate New York with her husband, Mark. She has contributed to technical efforts involving the modification and updating of radar modeling software, radar coverage analysis, and development of logistical sites planning tools.

She previously worked for ANDRO Computational Solutions where she had been involved in efforts for the Government to perform research and development of autonomous, multi-sensor image registration algorithms and techniques as well as research and development of multi-sensor, data fusion techniques for ballistic missile tracking and discrimination of targets.

comment Cannot get my ArcGISLocalFeatureLayer to update when adding features
Thanks for the comment. I have used the Editor Widget in the past successfully.

Yes, I'm using ArcGIS Runtime.

comment Setting creation of feature dataset as precondition to iterative process using ArcGIS ModelBuilder?
Yes, thanks for this information. I had nested the part that creates the FD into a sub-model, but that wasn't doing the trick. I had to put the iterative part into a sub-model.

comment With a routing model, how do I break up the input locations into start/end pairs?
I need to create a gpk from running the model. I don't know arcpy Python, but I'll give it a try.

comment How do I use a generic List with my Arc Objects code?
@NathanW Yes, it was such a simple thing. Thanks! I think we were both posting the answer at the same time :-)

comment Geoprocessor object won't execute
I did check the box for ArcGIS Runtime. This is a simple test (I was not able to get my original tool to run). I created a simple model using Modelbuilder, that just uses the CopyFeatures tool to make a copy of a polygon. There are no inputs or output parameters. It runs successfully in ArcMap.

comment How do I get around license error when creating custom tool?
In the IsLicensed function, the licName variable contains "ArcGIS Engine". Why do I need an "Advanced" license?

The IsLicensed function returned "false". I'm not sure where you're getting MinimumProduct from.

comment Need to get the minimum cell size of collection of rasters
The screen shots in the original post got messed up for some reason, but I corrected them. Hope this didn't cause any confusion.

comment Need a combination of geoprocessing tools that could replace Extract By Mask for use with WPF Runtime
One answer that I got was that I can try to use “Data Management tools”-> ”Rasters”-> ”Raster Processing”-> ”Clip Tool” as a substitute for Extract by Mask.

comment Need to get the minimum cell size of collection of rasters
The "Mosaic" tool that I use in my other model requires an output raster to already exist that has the right properties. If I end up using "Mosaic to New Raster" I would not need to do the above, but so far I've not been able to get that to work. I'll describe that approach here. . .

comment Need to get the minimum cell size of collection of rasters
The reason I need to get the minimum value of the cell size is because I need to create an empty output raster dataset that has compatible characteristics with the input rasters to be mosaicked together. This is not the complete sub-model for this. I will also do a "CreateRasterDataset" after obtaining the proper cell size.

I agree with you on that. Actually I'm working on this as a sub-model (one of about 6 or 7) to work with a Main model. I want to create a Main geoprocessing model that does the DTED mosaicking, slope generation and suitability. Then I would need to save it as a geoprocessing package. I'm taking it one step at a time. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm looking for a geoprocessing tool that could take the collected values and get the minimum value.

comment Does a geoprocessing tool exist that can find all DTED tiles that intersect an AOI?
I've tried using the following C# to Python code converter, but it doesn't work for any set of code . . . developerfusion.com/tools/convert/csharp-to-python

@AHigh I'm not familiar with Python. I use ModelBuilder.

Doing this programmatically, I would iterate through the geodatabase's raster catalogs, performing spatial queries to return the DTED tiles that intersect. I need to do the above, except with a model in ModelBuilder.

Thank you for your help. I ended up just doing this using ArcCatalog. I won't try to create this in the code.

ESRI.ArcGIS.Geoprocessor.Geoprocessor GP = new ESRI.ArcGIS.Geoprocessor.Geoprocessor(); CopyFeatures copyFeatures = new CopyFeatures(); copyFeatures.in_features = @"C:\FOBSP.gdb\BrigadeAOI"; copyFeatures.out_feature_class = @"C:\Data\BrigadeAOIcopy.shp"; RunTool(GP, copyFeatures, null);
