Hello Profile readers,

I am the GIS Specialist and have worked with the US Forest Service and NRCS for the past 12 years. I am currently working for the USDA’s NRCS as a GIS Specialist. I earned BA in Geography from California State University Fullerton and earned my GIS certificate from the University of California Riverside GIS Extension Program. I am currently teaching American Sign Language at New Mexico State University since January 2012. Obviously I am the deaf GIS man!

I love the weather, world events, travel, network new people, exercise, internet, watch movies, of course sports !!, and teach students sign language.

The one thing I like about maps is 3D. It gives you the full concept of the area rather than having a 2D which gives you a vague picturesque in your mind !

Drop me a note if you like, rpoll2008@yahoo.com.

Let me know if you need any soils if you are unable to get from this website http://websoilsurvey.nrcs.usda.gov/app/HomePage.htm. I may get you some if I can.

Thank you for reading my profile !

It worked but it depends on the column itself you would have to adjust the right justified number (50) to less number to show it. If you put 50 then the number will not display unless you drag the column to the right to be able to see it. It will still be there but the number will not show it.

@recurvata - The Post_Acres you see above is the one that I re-calcuate after I clipped with the boundary. The 207 acres I took is from the boundary I ran to calcuate how many acres from that data and then use this number to run the equation I used to build the percent. Get it ?

comment Using Construct tools to construct a feature from line to polygon?
I've use that feature to polygon tool in Arc. YEs I want to use the existing lines to split the existing polygons into two or more features. Thanks for explaining clearly.
