Should I use File Geodatabase (*.gdb), Personal Geodatabase (*.mdb) or shapefiles? If sharing data outside of ESRI environment then Shapefile - If not then File Geodatabase are the way to go (larger databases can be handled) |

Any Piri Reis shapefiles? Tip:in Google Earth right click the KMZ and do properties and there is a Transparency slider, move towards 'clear' and you can see the differences with the modern world. |
