comment GeoSever PointStacker Renders incorrect position
You probably did not add the parameter that I was talking about, which makes the point appear in the their original position if they are alone in the cell. preserveLocation=true. It could also be that your GeoServer is too old and does not have that feature, I believe it should be available since the 2.6.x series, but not sure

Unsure, not a client side guy myself, you should ask on the OL mailing list I guess

comment GeoSever PointStacker Renders incorrect position
This code: github.com/geotools/geotools/blob/master/modules/unsupported/… It was written by Martin Davis while he was working for Boundless, I made a very small change since then to allow single points to retain their original position, otherwise it's the original one

comment Can we add features to geoserver layer using REST
One can only hope, given the is no official standard spec for it. But there is a good chance, ESRI needs to maintain its servers and clients compatibile with each other, don't think they can force people to upgrade both clients and server in a single shot...

comment Can we add features to geoserver layer using REST
I'm afraid a complete response would be a little book, if are good at Java/Spring you should look into the existing REST api and imitate the existing code: github.com/geoserver/geoserver/tree/master/src/restconfig

comment GeoSever PointStacker Renders incorrect position
If you check the code, you'll see that the cell center is weighted along with the point own positions, this is probably why you get displacements, and they are there by design, to avoid clusters to overlap with each other too much

comment Geoserver render interpolated polygons
I've already answered that question, code wise the building blocks are there, but I don't think they can be combined in a way that actually works today.

comment Geoserver render interpolated polygons
I believe the building blocks to do that fully on the server side in GeoServer are there (the querylayer extension module, the barnes surface rendering transformation, the clip coverage transformation), but I have doubts they will work together the way you need out of the box (chained rendering transformations are known not to work for example). I'd suggest you to contact the geoserver-users mailing list to discuss this further, stackexchange is not the best place to have a discussion.

comment Settings for GeoServer: large WMS png request failing
It's not dependent on the number of layers, but on the max number of FeatureTypeStyle you have for a single layer, since GS will allocate a drawing surface for each one of them. Also, the error makes me think it's not GS own memory control, but a real out of memory happening in the JVM, so something else (parallel requests maybe) is chewing memory there

You should check the generated SQL query, it can be done by setting the logging level to "geotools developer logging".
