Are there any open source network analysis tools? Once this is closed, it would be helpful to combine the other two under a useful title. Alternatives to pgRouting has better answers, but its title is less informative. |

Given a terrain, how to draw the stream flow path? Okay. When you said "I am less clear on how to execute this", I assumed you wanted practical advice on how to do this. Presumably the workflow used by these software packages could provide a guide to the overall structure of your algorithm. From there I suggest you consult the academic literature about specifics. For example, Tarboton, 1997 was referenced several times in my search for flow direction algorithms. |
