Definition of a BBOX in Web GIS So if the projection is EPSG:900913, the bbox should reflect the boundary of this projected coordinate system right? |

BBOX and Projections of WMS services in Geoserver I am calling the wms service directly on Google Map... Use the image layer and overlay it directly on the base map. |

Simple Question: Raster from ArcGIS to Geoserver Finally I used "gdalwarp -srcnodata 0 -dstalpha" to make a mask to show the transparency of my nodata value. |

Simple Question: Raster from ArcGIS to Geoserver Thank you very much for your detailed instruction. I think everything works fine except for the nodata part. If I set the nodata filed as -9999, the raster would be rendered totally black in openlayer. I will try other methods in GDAL library to adjust this issue. |

Simple Question: Raster from ArcGIS to Geoserver You are right. They are GRID file from ESRI...but the question is still here: how can we put those GRID to geoserver? |

Find the nearest raster cell value based on a vector point @whuber There is another problem is that I don't know where the outliners are. So there are actually 2 procedures in my process: identify the outliners and assign values to them. |

Find the nearest raster cell value based on a vector point @whuber: Your method sounds very clever. My question is I am handling data on a global scale and how can I determine the x0 and x1 for the outlining raster? |
