@Luke yes, I just checked. So apparently the same dataset opens fine with the netCDF driver under Linux, but does not under Windows. If you want to give it a go: dropbox.com/s/0n92v1lksckc157/…

I have 1.11.2 on Linux and 1.11.3 on Windows. On Windows I use the version installed via osgeo4w, not sure there the netcdf/hdf5 support is via plugins.

Thanks for the answers, that make sense, but it also raises new questions/issues: if I skip the HDF5 driver then I get (under Windows): ERROR 4: `A20133052013312.L3m_8D_CHL_chl_ocx_9km.nc' not recognised as a supp ed file format. gdalinfo failed - unable to open 'A20133052013312.L3m_8D_CHL_chl_ocx_9km.nc'.

comment Processing modeler: how to dissolve a vector layer and sum the attributes
Hi, I'm the author of "dissolve polygons" inside the OGR category in the QGIS Processing toolbox. If you think that a "dissolve lines" tool is handy then please open a feature request on the QGIS bug tracker and assign it to me. Cheers.

comment Grass functions (for example, r.li) on QGIS Processing Toolbox
It is not possible to add r.li to Processing toolbox because is not a tool that works entirely from the command line, as in native GRASS has some native GUI for specific configurations. If you need to do landscape ecology in QGIS (in Processing too) use the LECOS plugin.

comment While loop in QGIS modeler
What about if a certain point two (or more) polygons can be addes/selected and any of them is enough to reach/pass the X limit? What polygon should be added to the selection, the smallest? This question does also apply when the X limit is not almost reached, what polygon should be selected first in case there is more than 1 possible?

@MapEngine please upgrade to 2.8.1 and check you don't have any processing folder in your plugins one.

comment QGIS Modeler flexibility and errors?
What QGIS version are you using? be sure that you are using a recent QGIS release and then also that in your .qgis2/python/plugins folder you don't have any "processing" folder. If yes then delete it, restart qgis and try again.

comment spatialite - azimuth function not available
So the only way to get a working copy of Spatialite with liblwgeom support enabled is by compiling the code? There is no way to enable liblwgeom support by using (say) Ubuntugis packages?
