how to use mapproxy to serve WMS from reprojected google maps tiles You will need to have tile url, namely the url to a single tile with x/y/x value like this pseudo one: tiles.googlemaps.com{x}/{y}/{z}.png (Use Firebug/Firefox to get the real one), and then you just need read thoroughly MapProxy's documentation to get your task done. |

Any low-cost Virtual Private Servers able to run GeoServer? +1 for linode too. I have one project running on Linode currently, i deployed Django, Geoserver and Postgis on one VPS. So far so good. |

How can I calculate the number of raster pixels within polygons? In your case, i think you may want to do a routine that loop thru each polygon and run zonal statistics with the polygon and flood raster. As you are using ArcGIS 10 and assuming that you have little knowledge on scripting automatically, i think you should try ModelBuilder with Iterators Tool. |
