How to Query Parks in GeoNames and Combine it With a Polygon Layer? @Mapperz How would I go about using the qgis.org service? Is it also a database I have to download or somethning I should just query? All these apis have a kind of unclear documentation :( |

How to Query Parks in GeoNames and Combine it With a Polygon Layer? @Mapperz if I download that data, do you think I will be able to perform the tasks that I mentioned in my question in there? |

Is there any way to tell whether a park from GeoNames is small or big? Thanks, would you know how to do the cross-query of point of interest and polygon? Sounds interesting, but I have not seen anything about this. |

Can't get correct number of populated places for a place Actually I just realized my query could be wrong as it didn't even retrieve some of the biggest cities in Andorra. So something bigger is out of whack. Could I do something with the query to make it more correct and actually get Andorra cities like Santa Coloma and Saint Julia. |

Can't get correct number of populated places for a place thanks - is there maybe a better place to get populations of populated places? |

Why does GeoNames say there are only 73 parks in Mexico? @Mappertz I was playing with the OpenStreetMap link you showed me, but I think I don't understand how I'd get the parks out of it. Under the park section, there isn't much. |

Why does GeoNames say there are only 73 parks in Mexico? Thanks, but I still don't understand why all those options bring back such small numbers of results. I am expecting there to be thousands of diff parks and fields there since it is a large country. |
