comment Offset Google markers at the same address
Once you've obtained an array of your markers (it's not important how they are fetched) then pass them to the marker clusterer, as in the last line of code above.

comment Which registry key holds the license type in ArcGIS 10.x?
It's not that I'm trying to fool ArcGIS into giving me a license type which I don't have access to - the floating LM does have an ArcEditor, but I can't make the change in the ArcGIS Administrator. And yep, I can open RegEdit but I can't use the ArcGIS Administrator - go figure! PS this definitely used to work in the older versions. Updating that registry key definitely did change the ArcGIS license type from ArcEditor to ArcView, etc.

Sorry, I can't see how to change just the menu pulldowns. On my PC the menus and their pulldowns are controlled by the Menu option. I suggest the usual Esri fix of reinstalling the OS then ArcGIS :)

Thanks Rob, that looks like a good approach. Very nice site, by the way!

comment Is there a map-level event to signal the start/end of drawing?
Thanks for that - much appreciated. I'm finding that both the loading panel and layer.events.register("loadend"... are a bit buggy and don't always register the end of drawing, but I'll explore this in a separate thread if I can't resolve it

comment Google earth deviation from arcgis 10 based maps
can you please quantify the shift - is it a few metres off, or are your features sitting on the wrong continent? Can you give some screenshots?
