Should I split MultiPolygons into Polygons? Thank you. I must provide some more information: looking closely to my data, I've realized that there are not more than 10 Polygons for each MultiPolygon. Moreover, I do not need at the moment complex spatial queries and for the time being 'intersects', 'within', 'contains', 'disjoint' are the only relationships needed. Here's an example of one of my geometries: link |

Should I split MultiPolygons into Polygons? Ok, thanks. But what I can't understand is when to use the MultiPolygon type if an index alway works better for Polygon. |
