Pictometry Accuracy and/or Alternative Welcome to GIS SE. Instead of just providing links, it is preferred that you also provide relevant information, perhaps a summary of key points from each link, in answers. Also, per the FAQ, you must disclose your affiliation with Pictometry when participating in questions/answers that deal with the company. |

importing coordinates via a csv file does not work If those are the actual records from the CSV, the commas appear to be in the wrong place. They are acting as decimals as opposed to separating values. |

How to convert .adf files to shapefiles in ArcGIS Make sure you see the discussion in gis.stackexchange.com/questions/19047/…. The answers there will help, if you don't mind using software other than ArcGIS. |

Are there plans for improving performance of vector files in QGIS? In addition to Mapperz' question about shapefiles, information about your hardware (e.g. processor speed, RAM, and video card specs) might be useful. |

Cannot fix QGIS after upgrade to Ubuntu 13.04 Raring It's fine for someone to answer their own question, for exactly the reason you stated (helping others). I suggest that you also mark this as the accepted one. |

How can I create a line with three points with Python in QGIS? Are you trying to do something different than what you asked in another question? gis.stackexchange.com/questions/60007/… |

Should I use File Geodatabase (*.gdb), Personal Geodatabase (*.mdb) or shapefiles? You can always keep data in a geodb, and export to Shapefile when you have to share outside of an Esri environment. |

Where to download USGS DOQQ boundaries? Kevin is correct that some states, Maryland for example, distribute the 12k quarter quad (aka 3.75 minute quad) index for the state. If your study area isn't larger than a few states, you may get lucky that those states distribute the data. |

Optimize ArcServer Service Drawing Speed Welcome to GIS SE. Additional information such as how many and what type of layers the service contains, as well as how the service is used (as a basemap? for example) by GeoCortex will yield better answers. |

How to find lat/lon values for every pixel in a GeoTIFF file? Also, not every GeoTIFF contains a world file. A true GeoTIFF has the coordinate information stored in the header, not in a separate file. However, the term "GeoTIFF" is often applied to TIFF images with a world file. The point is, there won't always be a TFW. |

How to design class breaks for a time series of choropleth maps? What type of breaks do you get if you take the min/max of all data, regardless of year? I would try to work with those, unless they skew too many individual years. If so, I would pick the year that has a min and max (and maybe average) closest to the average min and average max (and maybe average) of all data. |
