comment Postgresql to mbtiles
that is right. I thought about mapproxy which could use mbtiles as tile storage instead of mapnik+postgis db. OK! Anyway i'll look at tilemill then. Thanks a lot.

comment Can conversion of MapInfo WOR to ArcGIS MXD preserve styles and coordinate systems?
Let me see. You mean that FME can get from TAB 2 files(SHP+LYR). Could you please explain where information about styles is stored in mapInfo? I'm not a mapinfo expert.

comment Publishing Shapefiles via ArcGIS Server
Exactly! I have just the developer license on ArcGIS Server without ArcGIS Desktop I think. Gents, I try to migrate from ArcIMS which has shape-file sources. So I believe ArcGIS Server should have some tools for my issue...

Andre, is it the same if I use something like: update osm_point set way=transform(way,20022); update osm_line set way=transform(way,20022); update osm_polygon set way=transform(way,20022); update geometry_columns set srid=20022 where f_table_name='osm_point'; update geometry_columns set srid=20022 where f_table_name='osm_line'; update geometry_columns set srid=20022 where f_table_name='osm_polygon';

Also does it mean that -E key is unavailable anymore? What inaccuracy will be after reprojection?

Thanks Andre for your reply. What does it mean? "do the reprojection afterwards in the database". Could you please show an example?

comment slow import via osm2pgsql to postgresql database
Ok! I tested it on the red hat linux and I've just wanted to know how to start the osm2pgsql process. e.g. when I used osm2pgsql via rpm I imported the data via a compiling file "osm2pgsql -keys", but now I see a group of .h,.c files in osm2pgsql folder, which scrypt should I use for the import starting?

comment slow import via osm2pgsql to postgresql database
of course I tested it and the increment was small. e.g. the processing way has become 0,65k/s instead of 0,11k/s and my memory is quickly filled, when I'm going over pending ways. If I use the osm2pgsql version 0,69 the processing way works fine, relatively quickly.
