Geoserver WMS cascading: How to choose remote CRS? I tried again just now: if I ask GeoServer to reproject native (32632) to declared (4326), for some reason the computed declared lat/long BB is expressed in meters and not degrees. This confuses QGis so it's not able to get the map. If I use geowebcache to do the reprojection or enable on-the-fly projection in QGis and keep it to the native reference system, it works. |

Geoserver WMS cascading: How to choose remote CRS? By the way, I managed to get what I wanted using the geowebcache server included with geoserver, but I'd rather use also geoserver directly |

Practical way of managing polygons and unions of them That's exactly what the query above does, so there'd be no need of going back and forth from PostGIS. I was looking for a way of computing it in reasonable time (3-4s at most). |

Best way to manage large number of geoTiff rasters That's good, and it helps to use more than one core in my laptop at a time btw. It's not that portable to someone else's machine, but I'll try to work it out. |

Best way to manage large number of geoTiff rasters Just being able to have them in a project without them being a complete drag. The ability of viewing portions of the map in a decent time is a must, but that is something which is already possible in QGis, after the set has been loaded. If I right click on the set and hit "properties", however, I have to wait around a minute to see them... |
