How to label a lot of nearby points? You are right. I was thinking about the default labeling tool, where the coordinates are held within the attribute table of the polygon layer (the plugin 'layer to labeled layer' uses that by writing X and Y coordinates to the polygon layer - but it doesn't offer the very handy option to connect point to label with a line). The good think is that the option to 'show all labels' is in all cases valid |

Exporting vector to kml with ogr2ogr without extended data It seems that if you use the -select option, you always need to include the columns you are using for "Name" and "Description"? This means these columns are included twice, as part of the Extended Data and as Placemark name and description. |
