comment Problem installing MbTiles plugin for GeoServer
From where exactly did you download the plugin? I can't seem to find a download link; Additionally, this is something worth posting to the Geoserver's dev list. Since it is a community plugin, it is experimental in nature, and might be buggy. that's the best place to get support for these kinds of thing

comment Is there a basic hands-on example of the use of UK GIS data (not in the ESRI native format) being imported for use in ArcMap?
This question has become more confusing; What data format do you want to support? OS supplies some data in Shapefile format (ordnancesurvey.co.uk/opendatadownload/products.html) Which ArcGIS supports natively. I'll suggest that you narrow the question, and tell us which data format you want to work with.

comment How do I convert from SLD to Carto CSS?
@gcarrillo: We ended up writing the CartoCSS from scratch. It didn't take that long, and our designer was more happy writing the CSS, than he ever was fiddling around with the XML.

comment Free Android library to display tiles
The nutiteq SDK claims to support arbitrary map projections. I do not have experience with it, so can't really provide an example of using tiles in another projection, so that is something that you'll have to explore. Do note that it is not a free library, and you need to purchase a license.

comment How to split a Polyline Geometry at a certain point in ArcObjects?
I'm not sure how this answers the question. IfeatureEdit only works on features, and not on Geometries, which is what I want to do.

comment Is there any online viewer which displays the polygons assuming great circle lines for the edges?
I think what you are trying to ask is: "Is there any Viewer which displays the polygons assuming Great Circle Lines for the edges, instead of assuming that Edges are in Cartesian Space" Is this correct?

Generally you should have only one one question per post. Before you post it as a new question, please search on this site. This has been answered many times here.

comment Difference between latitude and longitude
This question isn't about an actual problem that you are having; It is primarily opinion-based, and likely to generate discussion rather than answers. Unfortunately these kinds of questions are not a good fit for Stackexchange.

comment How to set up wfs-t service in Geoserver using openlayers from postgis data?
geoserver does not come with a WFS client. You should just use your Geoserver's WFS endpoint in your client.
