I think what you are trying to ask is: "Is there any Viewer which displays the polygons assuming Great Circle Lines for the edges, instead of assuming that Edges are in Cartesian Space" Is this correct?

comment How to compile QGIS master snapshot from a certain point in history?
Using Git, you could checkout to a particular commit, and build from there. Is that enough?

comment OSM2PO get all nodes included in a segment
How do you want to save it? You could simply query the Datbase, and get all the nodes which belong to a Way

What are you trying to do? packtpub.com has a couple of books which are quite decent for the price.

comment How to set up wfs-t service in Geoserver using openlayers from postgis data?
Generally you should have only one one question per post. Before you post it as a new question, please search on this site. This has been answered many times here.

This question isn't about an actual problem that you are having; It is primarily opinion-based, and likely to generate discussion rather than answers. Unfortunately these kinds of questions are not a good fit for Stackexchange.

geoserver does not come with a WFS client. You should just use your Geoserver's WFS endpoint in your client.

What have you tried so far? where are you stuck? Have you tried the setView method on the map?

Can you look at the path when you have Geoserver installed? it probably puts another GDAL in the path which does not have MrSID enabled.

This seems like a non-question to me. Can you explain what exact issue you want to solve by this?

Do you have a shapefile for the region that you want to keep? If not, then you'll have to create one.

comment Joining shapefiles based on FID in QGIS
You should never join layers on FID, since they are an auto field, and are not guaranteed to be preserved across operations such as Export, append etc.

comment Kriging values greater than the most extreme value of the input layer?
Why do you think that the values in the output should lie within the values in the input? The best fit for you data might be such, that the min-max of the interpolated output might lie outside your input data .
