How do you decide what interpolation method to use for resampling raster data? @Don Meltz: what would be a more appropriate title? Interpolation doesn't have to produce a continuous surface does it? Just a more finely grained one. |

How do you decide what interpolation method to use for resampling raster data? @whuber: sorry, perhaps I'm muddling my terminology. I have raster, I want to increase the resolution through interpolation. The answer I selected does reference interpolating rasters based on point features (which is what I have) so it meets my needs, although I like @Jakub's answer also |

How do you decide what interpolation method to use for resampling raster data? @scw I've clarified the question, hopefully a little less vague now :-) |
