Geoserver, Arc 10 or Windows 7 problem? The problem is due to geoserver, it is in the exception. Perhaps you have a higher resolution on your windows 7 computers causing the issue? |

Why is MapServer adding horizontal artifacts when projecting EPSG:4326 data to EPSG:3857? Try reprojecting the shapefile, it may already solve your problem by closing all polygons when they are written again. If you want to keep the file in 4326 you just replace the -t_srs, but keep in mind that reprojecting layers on the fly is not good for performance. |

SAGA-GIS Produces different results in command line than GUI Which module do you use? Can you post the history of both files? It is a mpts file which you get after saving both files. |

DXF to georeferenced SHP In fact the bounding box defines four control points, so there is not that much manual work. Apart from that, many gis systems include support for arcs, and if you really want to digitize different maps you may want to look for GIS-tools to digitize, eg wiseimage, arcscan, autodesk raster design,... |
