What do you want to do, how big is your data set? Then we can help you find out what would be the best way to proceed

Do you have a projection system set? Maybe the units are degrees now.

You can convert your points to a raster and then convert that raster back to a vector.

I don't see how this is a duplicate if someone is following a procedure specifically in saga.

comment Automating non-trivial workflow in SAGA-GIS
I just want to add: it is also possible to do this without python. In order to keep datasets in memory between several processing steps have a look at the saga_cmd --batch option. you can create file which specifies which modules to run. the syntax is very similar to usual batchfiles, and the files are kept in memory.

comment Fast and robust open source portable script or tool for interpolation - triangulation or similar
I should add that triangulation would actually be a bad idea if you want to have smooth contour lines (they will have sharp edges all over if you have little data). I think that indeed GDAL is probably the best option (I was not aware of gdal_fillnodata). As a tip, you could consider working with in memory rasters in gdal so you don't have to write/read to disk all the time.

Check the license carefully: triangle is NOT open source, it is only free for non commercial usage

Miro: better ask a new question for QGIS 2.2. Make sure you mention which version of the processing plugin you use.

geopdf can be created using gdal. gdal.org It is however unclear what the source of your data is.

Why would you want to store your data in gml? Seems a pretty bad choice.

What scale do you users need? What information does your system need to provide? Data size grows quadratically with scale. If you leave out large scales this may be possible.
