comment .DWG to ArcMap displays nothing
Knowing what's in the dwg would help. Certain AutoCAD features (like hatches) don't always import well. Additionally you will only see the features and layers turned on in the dwg. If all layers are frozen you won't see anything when you import into ArcMap.

comment Adding bullet points to text boxes
I have had trouble using bullets from MS Word. Looked great in ArcMap but when I exported to PDF the font was all messed up.

comment How to assign node IDs to links in a network?
Is there anyway to do this using a spatial join instead of creating new temporary files?

comment How do I redefine the projection of a DEM?
@PROBERT Thanks, I found the clear button. I never knew that it existed. Unfortunately it looks like it only clears the coordinate system assigned to the data frame not to the data (dem) itself.

comment How do I redefine the projection of a DEM?
@PolyGeo I have tried the define projection tool and I don't get any errors but in the layer properties it isn't shown as changed. I have tried going into ArcCatalog and editing the properties there to change the coordinate system and that doesn't seem to stick either.

@PROBERT maybe I am looking in the wrong spot but I don't see a button to clear the coordinate system
