Length of Feature So to get km from metres, multiply $length x 1000 in the calculator and that will be the output into the shapefile field. A projected coordinate system may be referred to as UTM or GRID. |

I exported a DXF from QGIS, but it won't open in AutoCAD The dxf conversion framework comes from GDAL/OGR. There are bug reporting/tracking systems for both QGIS and GDAL/OGR. see gdal.org |

I exported a DXF from QGIS, but it won't open in AutoCAD OK, so I have only every done one file with polygons. I have used dxfAuthor too, it seems to be fussy about the location of itself and of files. When it works, it does a good job. Sorry to hear about your time on DoubleCAD. |

How to install Openlayers plugin on Qgis 1.8? Harry, another issue about use, is that some locale has to already be in focus in the map canvas. A brand new project will often cause the plugin to return an error since it has no extents to work from. |
