comment Concurrent users using a DLL to access ArcObjects?
@blah238 I believe so. I setup web services in /rest/services, and use ArcObjects to store to the database based on an mxd map service file.

comment .NET And ArcGIS 10x - Where have all the wrappers gone?
You also have to install Visual Studio 2008 SP1+, otherwise it won't work with ArcObjects installation for ArcGIS 10.

comment Deploying ArcObject .NET DLLs
Confirmed. ArcGIS documentation states it is not required in certain pages. But the SDK installer WILL NOT GO THROUGH without Visual Studio 2008 Express, or Visual Studio 2010 premium/ult/test/professional.

Well, you don't have the best answer, but thanks for trying. Good point about the resolution.

@tomfumb The layer info has the correct values that I manually entered in. The mapservice info, has these offsetted values 197 etc. It did it automatically. Otherwise I loaded a blank shape file with one layer, just attributes and no data. So how do you fix the extent??

Add custom points to the map changes the extent and I think sort of mitigates the problem. But how do I set it up so that any extent / x,y value is allowed based on GCS_WGS_1984 maps? I just want normal latitude longitude values without resorting to adding "border points" into the map to dynamically change the extent.

@RagiYaserBurhum I added more code at the beginning to clarify some variables. I'm not sure why CreateFeature bugs out. And why it still says shape is not same type, when I am using POINT everywhere.
