How to improve OSM layer resolution in OpenLayers plugin while exporting? Ok, thank you than I'll wait :) Georeferncing it myself is a terrible thing for me. I'm not very good at it and it never fits perfectly in the end... The only thing I would do was if it would be possible to export already geo-referenced Geo-Tiff-Files from OSM... But I don't know if that is possible or if there is a service available that can do it. |

Why do OpenLayers layers appear shifted in map composer? Hm with the printing resolution you misunderstood me. The map looks fine EXCEPT that the OSM-Resolution is bad. This doesn't seem to improve if I export with a higher resolution. |

Why do OpenLayers layers appear shifted in map composer? Thanks for the answer: Now I have the openlayer plugin and it worked!! How do I get qgis master on debian? Now I have this in te repository: deb qgis.org/debian wheezy main one more question: Can I improve the resolution of the background map? For printing it is very poor... |

Projection - once again Thanks for the advice. I don't see a "accept" button anywhere. (who created this stackexchange anyway? Half the time here has to be spent with burocracy!) |

How to shift the Map a little bit? Before it was supposedly EPSG: 31468 = PD/83_GK_Zone_4 bzw. DHDN/Gauss-Kruger Zone 4 (QGIS). And I converted the blue layer to uTM33N/WGS84. The purple layer has the correct UTM-Dimensions |

Reprojecting a shape to UTM33 Hi Nick, thank you very much! This should be fine I think. As I've never worked with this qgis plugin - do you have the result file still on your coumputer and would it be trouble to send it to me via email. That would be extremely nice! christ.stark [a-n-t-i-s-p-a-m] @ gmx.de |

Reprojecting a shape to UTM33 Yes sorry. I'm trying to do this with Qgis. What I do is right click on layer an save as - then I choose the Projection system UTM33N/WGS84 and save the file to a new shape. The other thing was to first assign the other projection (pulkovo) to the shape layer and then save it to a new shape file. With both ways of dealing with it I didn't succeed... |

Looking for help identifying projections and reprojecting Hi, thanks again for the reply. In the meantime I have found the solution I had to convert from EPSG:2398 |
