comment SQL Server Relationships in ArcSDE
Yes, a multi-versioned view works, but it's vastly slower. We went from sub 1-second queries to 4-second queries when we switched to MVVs (which doesn't sound like much but the lag was very noticeable internally as well as to external customers).

comment SQL Server Relationships in ArcSDE
This is just a guess (which is why it isn't an answer) but I would bet that adding relationships could cause some conflicts unless you're very careful. On an important side note, if you're versioning your tables, you don't want to read them from the SQL side, only from the GIS side. Reading from the SQL side only shows the oldest version of the data (and not the changes that have been made that constitute the versions).

comment Why can't the breakpoint be “hit” when debugging an ArcGIS 10 Add-In?
I've had it happen several times for no apparent reason, too. If I recall, deleting the obj and bin directories resolved it a couple of times, copying the suspect pdb and dll to the bin directory of the current project worked a couple of times, etc. Nothing I can point to that will work every time, though. Good luck.

I don't have a definitive answer (though it usually means that the debugger can't find the pdb file for the loaded dll), but you can try sifting through these questions on SO to see if they move you in the right direction.

comment What is a good method for serving many static map layers through ArcGIS Server 10?
@Ron If your layers and layer pairings aren't going to change (or change infrequently), you could use a statically generated legend (if groupings and the legend are the only reason that you'd need to consolidate them).

comment Is there a way to decrease the auto-hide delay for dockable windows in ArcMap 10?
You might be able to turn off docking shadows completely if I read this correctly. That might increase the close speed a little.

comment Create a esri layer file through web map
I've never tried it but you could use the mapping application to allow the user to select what they want in the lyr file (data source, name, symbology, etc.), then use Python (specifically, SaveToLayerFile_management) to save the lyr file.

comment KMZ Quality: Desktop vs Plugin
This should be asked in two separate questions (since there are two questions in your question). This should also not be a request for tips since that would lead to "list"-type answers, which is not what this site is good for. (But otherwise, good questions; I'd like to hear the answers myself.)
