batch buffer with python in arcgis 10 @GISlove Ah, I thought you meant that you wanted to run all of the buffering jobs simultaneously. Batch buffering via python makes more sense. |

How far ESRI Technical Support goes? Honestly, though, I don't know if I'd use automated systems. It's sort of like the troubleshooting tree I have to go through with the cable company. I know that I will eventually need to talk to a tech to solve my problem, so I just hit 0 to bypass the nonsense. |

Data storage shared with co-worker @PROBERT So there's no server in common between your two offices? If so, "the cloud" (Dropbox, Amazon Cloud Drive, etc.) is probably your best bet. |

Problems when trying to Undo edit operations in ArcGIS Does this help: "If you are using the OnCreate, OnDelete or OnChange methods in a class extension to validate edit operations, you should not call AbortEditOperation on the workspace if your logic indicates that the edit operation is invalid. Instead, raise an error which will be propagated to the application that is performing the edit on the class." From here. |

Problems when trying to Undo edit operations in ArcGIS Too bad that there's not an OnBeforeDelete. My guess is that you're getting the event too far along in the process to prevent it. Perhaps somewhere higher in the event chain would prove useful? |
