I work with forestry spatial data such as roads, wildlife points, reserves, permits, licence areas and inventory. I'm organizing a variety of these features while helping my employer get to know their data. Before forestry, I worked with land tenure data. At that time, I assisted a paper-to-gis migragion of non-surveyed land rights, and then maintained that data in an enterprise environment. I'm quite comfortable with map production and cartography.

GPS to map workflow, for non-GIS folk After re-reading the question, I wanted to comment on the costs associated with all the staff accessing ArcGIS. |

Lightning Data Analysis The question was in regards to ArcGIS Model Builder, not PostgreSQL with the Postgis extension. |

Where is my attribute table in ArcGIS 10.1? It is not visible Before I tried stacking the windows, I was looking everywhere for something I could see along the edges of the monitor and I was not able to see the tiny corner. It was only when I used "Show windows stacked" that I could see the attribute table at the edge of the monitor. |

Where is my attribute table in ArcGIS 10.1? It is not visible I tried a few ideas in there and cant pin down which one worked but it got me trying a few things. I tried right click on task bar and chose, "Show windows stacked." This maximized all windows I had open on both monitors. It stacked the ArcMap windows. In the very top left corner of the monitor, by the ArcMap icon & document title, I could see a very small corner of the attribute table. I was able to click & drag the corner resize it, to make it larger. I was then able to click and drag the attribute table into the main screen. Thanks for giving me something to encourage the troubleshooting! |

What is the best practice for data management? @Mapperz - I like your long term record management thinking. Its definatey important to think of the 7 year permanancy, legality or historic-ness of the data or if it is only transitory data (temporary). |

How do I re-use a dataframe in ArcGIS 10.0 without ArcMap crashing? I used the workaround. Have yet to install the SP. |

Is it possible to have a dynamic table in a data driven page environment? I am using 10.0 as we're not up to 10.1 yet. I do want to export series to PDF. The map layout is the dataframe with map on top, legend on bottom, table floating over map on right side. There will be approx 500 maps with 1/3 to 2/3 of them having the table (some sheets do not require the table). The table should only show on those sheets needing the table. |

Is it possible to have a dynamic table in a data driven page environment? If it helps, there is an attribute field in the table indicating what sheet the polygons are on. |
