comment Automatically generate random polygons with a given number of vertices
Do you have a size requirement? Like, could the polygon be 1m² in area? Or 1000ha? Also, your example of using a GPX track wouldn't be random. It already exists.

comment Concatenate Multiple String Fields and Convert to Date field using ArcGIS Field Calculator?
try using !SignatureDay!.zfill(2). That will pad single digits with a zero at the beginning. zfill is a python string method.

What coordinate system is the original DEM in? If it's a geographic coordinate system, the slope will be wrong.

What software are you using? Do you have programming abilities? What coordinate system do you want to convert to? You'll need to edit your question with these details. Otherwise, it will likely be closed.

I was able to open the file in ArcGIS. Perhaps you need a projection file?

comment Use field calculator to reclassify values from three different fields to populate a new field AND determine overlap with different raster
I edited the answer so that it should work now. The indentation was incorrect. Python requires consistent indentation.

In your parameters, have you set MDB to be a personal geodatabase? It's possible that the database you chose is a File Geodatabase.

+1. Great answer. I wouldn't delete your answer even if an Arc solution is required. This may be useful to other users who are trying to do the same thing. And WhiteboxGAT is a great program.

While not exactly the same question, you might want to employ the techniques used in this question: gis.stackexchange.com/q/41064/7424 which is pretty much what Michael Miles-Stimson mentioned.

comment QGIS 2.6 Brighton - Graduated Symbols
If they're all showing as the same size, is it possible that the values in the field you're scaling by do not vary much? That may account why you aren't seeing them as differing sizes. I've just tried the same and it's working for me.
