@martinf: I am searching all other polylines that are within a buffer orthogonal distance from each polyline.

@whuber: for 13k features my code takes only 25-30 seconds. Other hand, creating new polylines from each segment and calculating distance takes nearly 7 minutes. You know it's really too much. So I am finding some way.

I have edited the question to make it better. Can you now have a look at it and help me to find any substitute?

@martinf: 1. Yes, you are right. By "to use this method I need to create polylines from each part of the actual polyline." I mean that "to use this method I need to create segments from each part of the actual polyline." 2. By actual distance I mean that, the value I am getting from using ICurve.QueryPointAndDistance Method's distFrom. 3. My method is not faster than ICurve.QueryPointAndDistance Method. They are approximately same. But to use ICurve.QueryPointAndDistance, I need to extract all segments of the polyline and convert each segment to another polyline. This conversion takes time.

comment Problem with multi-threading and geoprocessor tool in c#
Actually I have made a lot change in my current code and run the geoprocessor tool in a background thread using ExecuteAsync() method. And pass everything as string. That help me to get rid from thread thing and get a working version.

@KirkKuykendall: Now I am using Activator.CreateInstance instead of new, but I am curious why CreateInstance is good then new? Doesn't it internally use new?

@KirkKuykendall: Actually in my code, I am processing feature class such a way that, I have it's workspace path and type of workspace and the feature class. So I can easily get the feature class from those thing. And I checked that I get the right feature class perfectly using this code
