What to use to divide longitude on smaller parts than time zones? Pressure, heating rates, ozone rates, number of clouds etc and I want to display a grid like 8x6 with averaged values from that area. So I have it now like WWW, WWE, WEW, WEE, EWW, EWE, EEW and EEE on longitude and North frigid zone, north temp. zone, torrid zone (north) and the same on south on latitude. |

What to use to divide longitude on smaller parts than time zones? To don't have 360 parts (degrees), but something smaller to better display results in a table, because I can't display 360 elements or I don't want to display 24 elements (timezones), but <=12 and more than 4 elements would be optimal, I have already made 8 parts of 45° and beside that 24 timezones in different branch of my tree structure. |

How to convert GRIB-1 to GRIB-2? OK, my co-employee fixed degrib (it linked own libraries with newer system libraries), so I can run degrib now. So I run "degrib "GRIB file" -C -msg all -nMet -Csv" on GRIB-1 file and it failed the conversion to .csv with: "ERROR: In call to Grib2Convert. ERROR: In call to ReadGrib2Record. Problems with ReadGrib1Record called by ReadGrib2Record Inside ReadGrib1Record Grid projection number is 4 Don't know how to handle this grid projection." I try to fix it soon, but meanwhile you can help me again! |

How to convert GRIB-1 to GRIB-2? I can't even use degrib, because I run configure without errors and then make and I get error: "undefined reference to `gzopen64'". |

Conversion of GRIB and NetCDF to my database True, I have read that and downloaded cvngrib, it needed f95 (fortran) to install, so I installed it, but it was for some old version of GCC, so I gave up... |

Conversion of GRIB and NetCDF to my database Thank You very much, the wgrib2 looks that it works nice, but it told me "grib1 message ignored (use wgrib)", so I downloaded wgrib (1), but it doesn't have the feature for exporting to other formats (like .csv), so what is the best way to convert grib(1) to .csv or to grib2? I can find it, but I think it helps this topic to be fully answered to others with same problem... |
