Pdf layers to Geodatabase @ Poly geo - Exactly ! We are trying to extract features and load into File GDB. We are using adobe reader and ArcGIS 10.1 ..As for the steps , pretty straight - we unlock the layer and geolocation information and export layer with current tree option |

Copying Features from One ArcMap window to another, without losing Related Tables Hi, we are using PGDB, as the final deliverable to client is a Pgdb. This seems a necessary step as of now. Regarding the Relationship class, yes we use that. Like each electrical service point has a relationship class with customer address. I am able to copy the feature + related table and classes to another new Geodatabase, but to merge 2 or 3 such Pgdb's to a single with the relationship class intact , its difficult I think |

Copying Features from One ArcMap window to another, without losing Related Tables I am not sure, but the situation is like , a feature class is made of different subtypes and this Origin feature class subtype deals with the related table by means of Object ID.. Primary key is Object Id and there is a foriegn key.. Thanks for giving a viewpoint for me to give a try.. |

Tracking field personnal using android app and showing in ArcGISonline Dear Bjorn, Thanks for the answer. Please see steps I have followed. 1-Created an arcgisonline trial organisational account. 2- Created a base map and added a location tracking feature service on top of that, saved and shared resources.arcgis.com/en/help/collector-android/index.html#/… 3 -Installed collector for arcGIS in my android phone. Now , I see only 4 tabs like service request/recreation etc in the applciation. How can I load my basemap and add a point/attach a photo ? how can I send it to arcgisonline to be viewed in dashboard ? |

Finding nearest Stop location (DB) from current location I think the above comment from Stev_k is the closest matching description and possible solution to the problem. The question is , from a vast sea of continuous GPS coordinates in a route , how I break it to different segments between stops in Mysql ( ie S1S2 , S2S3 in figure) so that I can restrict nearest vertex to current location to the nearest segment only.. Hope I didnt sound confusing. Thanks Stev-k for that coment. |

Finding nearest Stop location (DB) from current location @ Uffe Kousgaard, While I agree to your first point regarding functionality , The second point may not be needed from Google for this application.. ie the possible bus stops and route locations are available in our internal database .But yes, we would like some POIs from Google or Openstreet for users to relate the stops to known benchmarked places. |

Are There Any OpenSource GIS Software Programs With an “Interactive” Rotate Feature Option? Thanks Darren, but I think Openjump has less capabilities in raster display, I will need to rotate the feature based on underlying image. Thanks for the hint anyway. |

Are There Any OpenSource GIS Software Programs With an “Interactive” Rotate Feature Option? Thanks mapperz, I was able to use QGIS plugin " Rectangles Ovals digitizing" to edit and rotate selected polygons. |
