How do you create an ArcCatalog-friendly xml metadata file from a url metadata? The SURN.zip actually does have several metadata files i.imgur.com/dmBIAxz.png but I couldn't get the ArcCatalog import tool to accept any of them. |

Looking for bathymetry data for Lake Sakakawea in North Dakota After using batchgeo.com with the csv file export on the usgs site, there does not appear to be any coverage near the upper part of the lake in the pre 1950 topo data set. So this potential solution is a wash unfortunately. |

Looking for bathymetry data for Lake Sakakawea in North Dakota I am checking out the historical topos now, this might actually work for our needs. Having a corresponding historical index would be helpful, otherwise it's just guessing at which quad name is the one you need. |
