Is it easy to digitize in ArcGIS using the Wacom tablet? Ours is a smaller one, the total size of the tablet is around A4 and the usable space on it, ie. the digitizing space, is probably closer to A5. It has been fine for our heads-up digitizing needs, we haven't needed any bigger. |

Which spatial DBMS should I select? Note that the question was seeking the nearest place, not necessarily calculating precise distance... for some use cases, euclidean will return the same result with less effort. I like your suggestion of using haversine though, I learn something new every day. |

Problem reprojecting annotation in ArcGIS 10 For the visible scale range, it's set to "Show layer at all scales". All the anno features are on the "default" symbol class with a defined symbology, I moved them to a new symbol class to see if that would affect anything but... nothing. The features are still there but not drawing. Weird. |

Problem reprojecting annotation in ArcGIS 10 It's a new file-based GDB generated in 10 with a new anno feature class I generated myself, so it's not a version issue. Still stumped! Have you successfully managed to reproject annotation in 10? |
