comment Interpolating and infilling a raster from 5km pixels to 100m pixels in Arcmap 10
Thanks for the insights on this issue James, I think I am going to have to run with parallel methods on my first year of data (your method of aggregating the landuse data with a weighted average, against @Martins suggestion of IDW interpolation), and see how similar they are... If there aren't too many discrepancies then Martins method will certainly be faster (although I might have to play around with the Interpolation parameters a little, atm it seems to be underestimating the values, as compared to the original file...) I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the quick response Spatial, your answer and @StephenLead combined helped me out with this one, I ended up going back to the original source of the raster file (a txt file that was originally downloaded from the Bureau of Met. There was a listing in that file that hadn't been carried over to the raster, which listed the Geodetic as WGS84. Once I plugged that in it seemed to correct itself perfectly. Cheers for the help and pointers!

comment Arcmap 10 feature with undefined coordinate system projects incorrectly when projecton is defined
Thanks for the quick answer, I've checked the raster file once its loaded into Arcmap in a new dataframe, as @GetSpatial suggested below. The dataset is positioned correctly within the dataframe (the coordinates match up with the SEQ region) and the GCS is undefined. This explains why the Contour feature doesn't have a defined GCS. Is there any way that I can apply a GCS to the raster once its loaded in, or is there some way I can edit the raster before its entered into ArcMap?
