Geocodes fails when published to ArcGIS Server I'm using 10.1. The layout of creating a geocode has really changed with 10.1 (at least I think with 10.1, last time I probably did a geocode was in 9.2 or 9.3.) Everything is done wit ha UNC path name. |

Geocodes fails when published to ArcGIS Server I'm using ArcGIS Server 10.1 sp1 (sorry I forgot to mention that) along with ArcMap 10.1 sp1. From what I can tell "Name locations added with tool using nearest address" appears to be for route finding only. |

Unable to turn a layer off in ArcGIS 9.3.1 That was a good guess! I haven't used the feature to graphics option very much, but as it turns out, it's something they use on a daily basis. They select a parcel, convert that parcel to a graphic, print a map, delete their graphic and move on. As you guessed correctly, they didn't have any parcels selected, so all the parcels were converted to graphics. I appreciate the help, thank you! |

arcgis server & reverse proxy server Yeah, I forgot that portion about requiring encrypted web access. I'm definitely disappointed with esri and their lack of help on this issue, especially when it's something they recommend doing. We also have the GeoPortal software, and trying to find anyone at esri that knows that is a joke. |

arcgis server & reverse proxy server Apparently I can only edit for up to five minutes after adding a comment. I was wrong on it only not working with cached services. It doesn't work on any of them through the domain name. |

arcgis server & reverse proxy server I'm currently having the exact same problem, but only with cached services. However, on mine it also adds the port. For example 8080. So I need to add the "s" for https, and have it remove the port number. Did you ever find a fix? Was the redirect a pain? |

How do you remove the title in the banner from the esri geoportal extension? Thanks Brad, but I'm not using the Flex app on this one. |

How do you remove the title in the banner from the esri geoportal extension? It's true that on the page that you're seeing, our live site, it doesn't show up. However, I had installed it on my local machine to make changes to the page so that I didn't have to change the live site. When I installed it I copied everything I had on the server, including the banner.jsp file. For whatever reason it was showing it, even though it was commented out. I'm not real sure what went wrong here, as it makes no sense what-so-ever. Thank you, as that helped me find it again. All I did was un-comment it out and then re-comment it out again. That fixed it! |
