comment Coordinatentransformation fails in QGIS?
The UTM 32N coordinates for your GK3 point are 428697 E 5487327 N. Not sure what you did wrong.

WGS84 should be lon/lat degrees, around 8E 49.5N for your center point. I'm not sure what CRS your pseudo-GK should be. Which EPSG codes did you use?

You might need to browse to a folder where you have full write acess. Otherwise the file will be written into the programs folder on which you might have only restricted access.

The second method is correct, but you have to give the new file another filename.

comment QGIS Georeference
You should add how you gathered the target coordinates. If you picked them up from an Openlayers layer, your have to set the target CRS in the georeferencer to EPSG:3857.

comment Google Maps Openlayer plugin not aligned with the OpenStreetMap building layer in QGIS
You should always keep in kind that either Google Maps, Openstreetmap or any other source might not be georeferenced perfectly. They may not have good sources for georeferencing, or did it in a quick-and-dirty way, or the photo is not taken orthogonal.

comment How do I make equidistant circles covering the whole globe in QGIS?
Just create a text file with X,Y 0,0 in two lines with any text editor, then use Add Delimited Text Layer (the icon with the comma) to load it as a new layer. If you are prompted for the CRS, choose your custom aeqd, else use Set CRS for layer to set it.

In the custom aeqd projection, your city will always be at (0;0). You can insert the coordinates as delimited text.

comment OTF reprojection and reprojecting layer not working in QGIS
The X coordinates look rather strange for UTM. What area or town should the data cover?

Can you add the extent of the Corrego Alegre UTM layer, as reported by the Layer properties -> Metadata tab?

comment How to have GDAL print layers of GeoPDF AND say which are raster vs vector
The underscore vs blank does not apply to my example. I guess the GeoPDF driver still needs some developer attention, but there seem to be more important bugs to fix. The automatisation works for vector export into the spaitaöie database, while the raster layers need some handwork.

comment Change from ArcGIS extent box to lat long pair
If the points are near Flathead Lake, EPSG:3857 would be my closest bet for the CRS.

comment Unable to stylize as pseudocolor render type
I'm on Windows, with QGIS 2.10.1 as well. I can't help out on Mac-only problems. The preview you mention seems to be only in the print composer.

comment Unable to stylize as pseudocolor render type
I use Color Interpolation linear. Make sure that the render switch in the status bar is activated.

comment Defining the azimuthal equidistant projection of an Environment Canada weather radar map
You can reproject the corner coordinates in the aeqd projection back to lat/long, if it helps.

comment Defining the azimuthal equidistant projection of an Environment Canada weather radar map
The parameters for Central_Meridian and Latitude_Of_Origin should be adjusted to the point given in the question. And for the use with PROJ.4/GDAL/QGIS, a sphere should be used instead of an ellipsoid.

comment Why does Points2One complain “Can't make a polyline out of one points.”?
Can you add the attribute table of the locationpoint layer? Are you sure that several points share the same id value?

comment How to install GDAL with Python on windows?
FWTools was a good tool at the time, but is has got no updates since then. I suggest to switch to gisinternlas which is still actively maintained.

It is no problem at all to have several MSVC runtimes installed on the same computer. If you need special drivers like ECW and MrSid, note that there are different opportunities compiled under the different MSVC plattforms. Just follow the information link and see the differences.
