You should be able to get them to line up without it. I was able to get the simple square to line up. I think I used 15 pt with 7.5 offsets (ArcMap just crashed so I can't confirm). If you have to convert to graphics, just right click the layer and selecct "convert to graphics". Adding pics to answer.

comment Flip multiple vectors
The flip tool honors selections or definition query, so just apply one or the other to the data 1st. (It will only flip those that are selected). If it is a large dataset, my favorite is the definition query, b/c it is faster.

comment Benefit of using GlobalIDs in ArcSDE geodatabase?
Must have had a disconnect between my brain and fingers. Edited my response, thought I was talking about Globals but somehow typed Objectid.

Different purposes? What exactly do you mean by this? They both uniquely identify a certain record. 1 is just persistent (and globally unique) and the other can be modified. If you are using a gdb that does not support GlobalID's, and needed an auto-generated key to link data, you would use the ObjectID to link the data, you just would have to make a copy of the ObjectID before moving the data to keep the relationship
