comment How to create a map using LeafLet
@Isaac, check out this example (jsfiddle.net/vannizhang/pxm4b7z3/3) that I just put together on jsfiddle, it shows a geojson file with polygons without displaying the base map.

Although the example I put there is showing stores as points, however, you can create a GeoJOSN file with polygons that represent the indoor stores. And you can remove the base map so you app would look like an actual indoor map.

After you made the spatial selection, you may use the "Feature Class to Feature Class" function to save the selected features from feature layer ("atikot_lyr") to a new feature class.

That makes sense, maybe you can try to simplifies the geometry of your GeoJSON file by using some software like QGIS to improve the performance.

Is that possible for you to share the GeoJSON file somewhere so we can test it? Your code looks OK so I guess the issue might comes from the GeoJSON file

comment Adding Properties to GeoJSON File
You need to add the spreadsheet to QGIS first as well. So I would save the spreadsheet as a CSV file, and then use "Add vector layer" to add the CSV file to the layer list, then you should be able to see the table when you open "Add vector join". If you can't get that work, maybe you can share the spreadsheet somewhere (like google doc) and I can edit my answer by adding some more screenshots.

I see your point, and I can use the Maximum and Minimum coordinates returned to calculate the width and length. Thanks!
