How to shift the Map a little bit? @nmpeterson; I really don't think so. Look in the bottom-left corner specifically. There's no way this is can be a 'matching' dataset. Please don't downvote without closer inspection! |

How to get the radius of a “circle” in Openlayers Do you just want the area of the polygon, not 'radius'? |

How to get the radius of a “circle” in Openlayers Can you elaborate as to what you mean by radius? Do you mean the radius of the smallest circle that will enclose each polygon? |

How to copy a geometry from one feature to another without attributes? The only issue with this is that QGIS will take the attributes and dump them into the new table in the order it finds them, ignoring all column names, etc. I find this to be a bit annoying! It would be nice if there was an option to copy just the geometry, and I think perhaps that is what nippo is asking. |

How to generalize a polygon file and maintain topology in QGIS? Kurt; Interesting. Looks like you're right when you do a strong generalization! Sorry! |

Can two polygon layers be merged in QGIS on a common id? It sounds like you may need to reword your question if this is the case. If you want some but not all, then you wouldn't be dissolving on a common ID. Giovanni's suggestion would work for your case, or you could add an actual common ID for those you want to dissolve. |
