Highlighting and exporting raster layer based on vector polygon If you could get it to work, you can always convert from PDF to any other image easily using something like ImageMagick (imagemagick.org/script/index.php) |

gdal_polygonize error with Arc/Info binary grid raster file If you can open the file in ArcMap (sounds like you can) can you save it to a different format from there? Also, you may want to try posting your error message on the gdal mailing list if no one replies here. |

Highlighting and exporting raster layer based on vector polygon Thanks Spinner. I believe the "Shaded Cells" option in EasyPrint will let you do what you want. However, I don't have time to test it at the moment. I disagree that Atlas is more customisable than EasyPrint. In fact, I think it's the opposite! EasyPrint is a bit harder to customize though ;) |

gdal_polygonize error with Arc/Info binary grid raster file I'm not sure on the particular error. Have you tried converting to a different format (GeoTIFF?) first, then trying your polygonize? |

Viewing .las format LIDAR data in QGIS? Hi Bryce, I don't know of anything more 'digested' and am far from a LiDAR expert. I suspect you should be able to piece some of that stuff together and at least get started, learning the rest as you go. |

Is there a way to render lines with a smooth (bezier) curves in QGIS? How is your data stored? Most data formats (e.g. shapefile) do not allow for arcs. I beleive some databases now do though. |
