comment QGIS DEM (Terrain models) Mode Slope creates wrong data
I am not familiar with USGS-data and capabilities of slope calculation with QGIS. But I would check if xy-units are equal to z-units. If xy-units (e.g degree) are not equal to z-units (meter, feet) the calculation of slope will be wrong.

comment How to make polygon volume in TIN surface?
Sorry, I've swapped the tools. Correct is this: Calculate in special area of interrest: Polygon Volume (3D Analyst). Calculate for whole TIN: Surface Volume (3D Analyst).

comment How to make polygon volume in TIN surface?
Do you really want to calculate the volume in a special area of interest (e.g. your TIN covers Europe but you want to calculate only in area of Norway)? Then use Surface Volume (3D Analyst). Or do you want to calculate the volume for the whole area (e.g. your TIN covers Europe and you want to calculate the volume in Europe)? Then use Polygon Volume (3D Analyst).

comment How can I make a reference plane to measure surface volume?
This is a new question. So I suggest that you start with a new question at /gis.stackexchange.com. Then you should give details about the software you have (3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst, …), about the data you have (TIN, Raster, …) and what you want to achieve exactly. Describe the target you want to achieve.

comment Interactive Exports from GIS
HTML ImageMapper does not work with Mapinfo. There are probably many similar tools like HTML ImageMapper. An other aproach is to Export SVG instead of HTML. Mappetizer (ArcGIS) and SVGMapMaker (Mapinfo) export to SVG (I have both not yet used.) I assume that there is no tool with works with ArcGIS and Mapinfo.

@Christian. You have to calculate the field before you do the join. After the join it is read-only.

@Christian: It depends on file format of the table. e.g. text and Excel files are read-only. You can edit e.g. dbf and Geodatabase tables. Here is a list of table formats‌.

comment How to Reproject a DWG file?
@gloserio: In which software you want to use the DGW after the DWG is converted? If you want to use it in ArcGIS you do not need to reproject it to a new DWG. ArcGIS is can reproject a DWG on-the-fly.
