rewrite kmeans section to make it modern
Dec 9, 2019 at 20:34 comment added Mike T @Luffydude you need to revise your installation steps, and if you had issues, make a new question to address it.
Dec 9, 2019 at 16:43 comment added Luffydude I got ERROR: function kmeans(double precision[], integer) does not exist
Mar 3, 2017 at 15:31 comment added Nicolas Boisteault I answered to my question here : gis.stackexchange.com/a/230719/20843 I forgot to say thanks Mike!
Mar 3, 2017 at 14:26 comment added Nicolas Boisteault @Mike T How do you visualize GeometryCollection datatype in QGIS?
Apr 26, 2016 at 20:57 comment added Mike T @maxd no. Given A = πr², then r=√(A/π).

show example of ST_ClusterWithin
Mar 28, 2015 at 22:34 comment added Mike T @Sanjayr it's possible, but very difficult to do, requiring non-free compilers and expertise on how to use them. It's much simpler to do with Linux, even a VM running on Windows.

Dec 11, 2014 at 22:50 comment added Mike T @andi many, many different ways. I normally use QGIS.
Dec 11, 2014 at 22:45 comment added andilabs how do you visualize it?

Jul 10, 2011 at 15:09 comment added djq For kmeans clustering you need to specify the number of clusters in advance; I'm curious if there are alternative algorithms where the number of clusters is not required though.

Jul 4, 2011 at 11:19 comment added wildpeaks Great, these modifications will help for the installation :-) However I fear I can't really use that extension in the end because (if I understood correctly), it needs an hardcoded magic number of clusters, which is fine with static data precause you can fine-tune it in advance but wouldn't fit me for clustering arbitrary (due to various filters) data sets, e.g. the large gap in the 10-points cluster on the last image. However this will help other people too because (afaik), this is the only existing SQL example (except the one liners on the extension's homepage) for that extension.
