Geonetwork GeoNetwork style customization

When iI launch GeonetworkGeoNetwork, all changes in files of style  (geonetwork.cssgeonetwork.css, gn_search_lessgn_search_less, gn_view.lessgn_view.less,...) are lost, and the system generategenerates a new file /static/gn_search_default.css/static/gn_search_default.css. 

How can I customize the geonetworkGeoNetwork style (colors, style, ..) and have them persist every time I launch GeonetworkGeoNetwork?
