I just sorted this out in the meantime. You can just

Just draw polygons in a new layer aroundabove the points (on top of them) andand then perform spatial joints via Vector -> Data Management Tools -> Join attributes by locationVector -> Data Management Tools -> Join attributes by location. 

Select "contain""contain" as Geometric predicateGeometric predicate and select "all records""all records" for a joined attribute table.
