Geonode is indeed amazing and definitely the way future for OpenGeo Tech but it's just that it's new and the developers are focused more on the Software development than documentation for now. Yup I have tried opengeo sdk too but I feel GeoExt is the best bet for now. | |

I was able to do that, but honestly being a newbie, I don't think Geonode is a place to create your own customizable tools. There were lot of issues and I am presently developing my application using simple GeoExt (which is also not that easy but allows development of customizable tools better) | |
