Dec 23, 2019 at 15:59 comment added PROBERT Yes it is not easy doing it in QGIS but you would need a 3D Photogrammetry software like Agisoft Metashape, Pix4D, etc ... you can identify rocks, roads, buildings if they existed back then and today....
Nov 22, 2019 at 10:02 comment added Marlon Calispa These area is complex indeed, since no recognizable features are easy to locate, in addition, the available imagery for the area is very coarse in resolution. I have previously tried with the QGIS plugin (with several methods), and I obtained relatively good results when compared with a more recent orthophoto. However I was suggested to orthorectify the images instead of simply georeference them, and that is why I was looking for options. Thanks for your suggestion.
