qfield QField qfieldsync issues

I have a fairly simple geopackage to edit with qfieldQField from qGISQGIS. I've packaged the project, and put it on my mobile phone (androidAndroid 9) made some edits for a bunch of data I'm trying to verify. Then I've closed qfieldQField copied the folder back from my mobile and then synced.

I can see the changes I've made in qfieldQField, but the changes are not syncing to the data in qGISQGIS. Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
